Browser: Delete cookies

Below is an explanation of how you can remove the cookies (and cache) from different browsers step by step.

  • For most browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera) you can try the following: While your cursor is in the browser, press the keyboard shortcut ctrl + shift + delete. You will be taken to a screen where you can check everything you want to delete, for example cookies.

  • 1. Click the 3 dots in the right upper corner in the browser
    2. Click on ‘Settings
    3. Click on ‘Privacy, search and services’
    3. Scroll down to ‘Clear browser data’
    4. Click on ‘Choose What to Clear’
    5. Select ‘Cookies and Saved website data’
    6. Click on ‘Clear’.

    1. Click on the ‘three dots’  in the upper right corner of the window, and after this on Settings
    2. Click on ‘Privacy and security’
    3. Under ‘Privacy and security’, click ‘Clear browsing data’.
    4. Here you have the ‘Basic’ and ‘Advanced’ tabs. In both tabs you can check the ‘Cookies and other site data’ and delete the files

    or

    1. Click on the ‘three dots’  in the upper right corner of the window, and after this on Settings
    2. Click on ‘Privacy and security’
    3. Under ‘Privacy and security’, click ‘Cookies and other site data’.
    4. Click ‘See all cookies and site data’
    5. Click ‘Remove all’
    6. Confirm by clicking ‘Clear all’

    1. Click on the Menu (3 dashes right upper corner)
    2. Click on ‘Options’
    3. Go to ‘Privacy & Security’
    4. Go to ‘Cookies and Site Data’
    5. Click on ‘Clear Data…’ and a new, small window will open
    6. Cookies and Site data are already selected, click on ‘Clear’ to remove the cookies

    1. Click on the Menu (the red O in the left upper corner)
    2. Scroll down until you see the option ‘Privacy and Security’
    3. Click on ‘Clear’ next to Browsing Data.
    4. A pop-up window will open. Here you can find the ‘Basic’ and ‘Advanced’ tabs. In both tabs you can check the ‘Cookies and other site data’ and delete the files

    1. Open the Safari preferences
    2. Click on ‘Privacy’.
    3. Under Cookies and website data you can click on the ‘Delete all website data’ button to immediately delete all data or on ‘Details…’ to select what can or can not be deleted
