Ortec: Employee Self Service 7 (ESS 7) – install app

This instruction describes how to download and install the ESS 7 app on an Android or iOS device as an employee of Clinical Sciences or Population Health Sciences (LH and Tolakker).

  • The app can be installed from the Apple App Store if you use an iOS device, or from the Google Play Store if you use an Android device.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Android 7.1 or higher

    or

    • iOS 15.0 or higher

  • Step 1

    After the app is downloaded, Open it.

  • Step 2

    On the welcome screen, tap the Login button.

     

  • Step 3

    Enter your organisation code. The organisation code for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is “UNIUP”. After this, tap KOPPELEN.

  • Step 4

    On the next screen, tap Ga verder met Universiteit Utrecht IAM.

  • Step 5

    Enter your Solis ID and password and tap Continue.

  • Step 6

    Enter the 2 Factor authentication and tap Next.

     

    After this, the app is ready to use.

    Through this link intranet.uu.nl/kennisbank/ortec-instructievideos-app, you’ll find instructional videos about various functionalities in the ORTEC Employee Self Service 7 (ESS 7) app. These videos cover the following:

    • Swap Service and Give Away Service
    • Do not indicate availability
    • View schedule and View team schedule
    • Accept exchange request
    • Request leave
    • Creating reports
