Solis-mail as Student-employee
When you study at the Utrecht University, and you work here as well, you will receive an employee mail-address along with your normal student mail-address. This address is bound to the same inbox, but will end in “@uu.nl” instead of “@students.uu.nl”. All your mail will be sent and received from this new address, but people will still be able to reach you using your student mail-address.

Step 1
Go to outlook.office.com and log in with your employee mail-address.

Step 2
You will get referred to the official UU login page. Fill in your password, and log in using 2-factor authentication.

Step 3
You will now be redirected to the Outlook 365 inbox of your employee mail-address.

When your activities as a University-employee come to an end, you won’t lose access to the mails from your employee mail-address. After 3 months, however, you will lose rights to employee services, and you will have to sign into outlook.office.com using your student mail-address again.
