SURFdrive is intended primarily for personal storage. Your data is permanently deleted upon termination of employment. This includes shared data. Other IT services, such as Teamsites or Microsoft Teams, provide the possibility to permanently share data with others.
SURFdrive is intended primarily for personal storage. Your data is permanently deleted upon termination of employment. This includes shared data. Other IT services, such as Teamsites or Microsoft Teams, provide the possibility to permanently share data with others. SURFdrive will send automatic emails warning you about the deletion of shared data.
You can secure shared files by copying them to your personal folders. This manual explains the steps.
All UU employees can use SURFdrive. Is this a temporary role? You must then make sure to secure your SURFdrive data before your role as employee expires.
