Lecture rooms UU: no sound during projection (VGA)

  • Step 1

Check if the audio cable and the VGA cable are in your laptop.

  • Step 2

On the touch panel you can choose from three different connections: ‘VGA’, ‘HDMI’ and ‘DisplayPort’. Select ‘VGA’. After selecting the connection, you can choose between ‘Project’ and ‘No picture’ on the same screen. Select ‘Project’. If you want to stop the projection, select ‘No picture’.

  • Step 3

Make sure the sound on the PC/laptop is on and the volume is high enough. This is done by clicking on the volume icon at the bottom right of the laptop or PC screen. Adjust the volume to at least 60%.

  • Step 4

Check if the sound on the touch panel is on and if the volume is high enough. This is done by pressing the up arrow on the touch panel screen to the right under ‘Audio Volume’. Press the arrow until the volume reaches the colour green or yellow.

  • Step 5

Have you gone through all the steps, but you still don’t have an image on the beamer? Then please ask for assistance. You can do this via the touch panel. Click on the help button. This is a grey button with a question mark, at the bottom left of the screen. You can also call 030 253 95 95.
