Mail (Solismail): relevant manuals
Below you will find the manuals that might be useful when setting up your Solismail. The manuals have been listed under the operating systems they apply to.

Manuals for Windows 10
If you don’t want to make use of a mail client, but you want access to your UU mail then you can use webmail. Webmail can be accessed via the following route:
- Open any internet browser
- Go to https://outlook.office.com/
- If you’re working on a UU workstation then it’s possible you’re logged on automatically.
If you’re working on a private pc or laptop you first have to log in with your @uu.nl email address and password.
In order to connect your NPM correctly you will first have to remove it from Outlook. In the manual Outlook: Add a non-personal mailbox you will find instructions for how to do both.
You can use the manual Solismail via Outlook 365
You can connect an NPM by following these steps:
1. Go to https://outlook.com and log in.2. The option “Try the new Outlook” needs to be turned off.
3. You might have to click on ‘More’:
4.Then right click on your own name in the menu on the left and choose ‘Add shared folder’.
5. Fill in the e-mail address of the NPM you want to connect and click on ‘Add’.
The NPM will then appear on the left menu underneath your own inbox.

Manuals for Mac OS X
You can use this manual: Solismail on Mac (Outlook) for instructions on how to set up your UU mail on your Mac using the Outlook application.
Do you prefer not to use Outlook? Then follow these instructions for setting up your UU mail in the Mail app on your Mac: Solismail on Mac (Mail)
- Open Outlook on your Mac.
- Go to ‘Preferences’.
- Under ‘Personal Settings’ click on ‘Accounts’.
- Click on ‘Add’ (Toevoegen (+)) to add a new account.
- Fill in the e-mailadres of the NPM and then click ‘Continue’.
- Fill in your own UU mail address and solis password and click on ‘Register’ (Aanmelden)
- When it worked like it should you will see a green icon. Click on ‘Finish.
